Changemaker and Professional Organizer
Owner and “redefiner-in-chief”, Erin Gaskins is a changemaker and professional organizer. For 25 years, she worked to impact lives through service in the public education sector, while practicing her love of organization, styling and design on the side.
Room Redefined grew out of that side project and is now a full-scale professional organization and styling company serving the Colorado front range from Fort Collins to Boulder to Castle Rock. Erin brings her passion to this business, bringing change to the lives of others through how we function at home, at work, or at school.
I believe that our spaces are defined by the people, the things and the intangible that enter them. Therefore, in our consultation, we discuss who uses your space, what things you need to have in the space, and how you want the space to function and feel. I am a big picture person. It is how I think! From our conversations I am able to determine starting points and step-by-step plans to best conquer each project and help you realize your goals. Once an area is complete, I provide ongoing support to make sure the organization and styling solutions we put into place continue to meet your needs over time.
Our Professional Organizers
After moving to Denver from her home state of West Virginia in 2020, Marissa Westbrook finally found her niche working as a Residential Organizer at Room Redefined. Her lifelong passion for Interior Design led her to grow curious about the unique ways that people interact with their homes and how to better design with these interactions in mind. The thing she enjoys most about being an Organizer is being able to work one-on-one with her clients to identify problems in their home and to come up with creative solutions to streamline these tasks. By doing this, the client can then focus their energy on what they do best. Outside of work she enjoys traveling near and far, eating delicious food, and spending time with her loved ones.
Transitioning to the world of Residential Organizing was a natural fit for Interior Designer Johanna Woodrow. She spent almost two decades curating well-appointed and approachable spaces and now brings those same talents to Room Redefined. She enjoys implementing strategies for her clients to help replace clutter with calm and find ways to maximize under-utilized space by drawing on her knowledge of architectural systems. Outside of work you are likely to find her with her family or curled up with a cup of hot tea and a good book.
Drawn to creating systems to help create orderliness, Angela uses her passions to Redefine personal and professional spaces. She is dedicated to turning cluttered areas into formed and presentable spaces. Having grown up in a family that honored the value of meticulous arrangement, Angela developed a natural knack for being organized. She knows that having systems in place to help create a peaceful mind, increases productivity, and ultimately gives you more time in the day to enjoy the things you truly love.
Angela is committed to ensuring that her client’s spaces are not only well organized but personalized to meet the needs of each individual client. Passionate about working at Room Redefined, Angela works to deliver maximum value to her clients, bringing order to their homes and minds.
A former educator, British Royal Naval officer and (most recently) a Business Operations specialist, Helen moved to the US in early 2020 and has since put her logistical, planning and project skills to good use sorting homes and schools. Ever practical and with the end user’s aims and needs firmly at the center of her planning processes, Helen works with clients to ensure that spaces are used efficiently and organized in a way that works best for the client. Specializing in larger projects, she is particularly adept at planning space for business and schools, considering cost effective, practical solutions which are planned and executed meticulously.
Since an early age, Lyndsie has always been known by her family and friends as the “organized one”. She can’t remember the number of times she has sorted, rearranged, and decluttered not only her own room, but many others’ rooms and spaces. She can vividly recall a sleepover at a friends’ house that by the morning equated into 5 lawn-sized garbage bags full of donates.
As a Colorado native, Lyndsie was born and raised in Littleton and graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2010 in Human Development. With experience in early childhood education, sales, design, business ownership, life coaching and being a mom of two, Lyndsie is a multifaceted woman. One skill has helped her succeed in all these varied areas: her passion for organizing.
When she’s not working with clients, you can find Lyndsie snuggled on the couch with an organizing, design, or self-improvement book, or scrolling through Pinterest. She enjoys hosting parties for friends and family, and most weekends, you can find her and the whole family out in their large yard playing.
